From A171 moor road at the Four Lane Ends roundabout take the first left along High Stakesby. At the end of High Stakesby turn right onto Stakesby road and continue down Spring Vale to the roundabout at the top of Chubb Hill. At the roundabout take the first exit onto Upgang Lane. At Harrisons Garage turn right into Crescent Avenue. Take the next right turn into John Street. At the end of John Street is Belle Vue Terrace and to the right is Skinner Street. We are at the top of Skinner Street, between the Church and Bothams bakery. There are lots of Bed and Breakfast properties and small Hotels located in this area. Parking is free all day in John Street, Abbey Terrace and Belle Vue Terrace but on Skinner Street and outside Youngs Jewellers parking is restricted to 40 minutes.


Continue forward on the A171 entering Burniston. At mini-roundabout continue forward entering Cloughton then Hawsker. Continue forward onto Stainsacre Lane - A171 entering Whitby. At traffic signals continue forward signposted Town Centre, Teesside to shortly cross Whitby New Bridge (River Esk). At traffic signals continue forward onto the A174 signposted Town Centre. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Chubb Hill Road - A174 signposted Saltburn, travel up to the roundabout and take the 2nd exit onto Upgang Lane. At Harrisons Garage turn right into Crescent Avenue. Take the next right turn into John Street. At the end of John Street is Belle Vue Terrace and to the right is Skinner Street. Turn off the A64 signposted Pickering. Continue on the A169 through Pickering, past the Hole of Horcum. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A171 signposted Whitby. Bear right signposted Whitby, Scarborough. Continue forward onto Guisborough Road - A171 entering Whitby. At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A171 signposted Town Centre, Scarborough. Branch left and at traffic signals turn left onto the A174 signposted Town Centre, Saltburn. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Chubb Hill Road - A174 signposted Saltburn, travel up to the roundabout and take the 2nd exit onto Upgang Lane. At Harrisons Garage turn right into Crescent Avenue. Take the next right turn into John Street. At the end of John Street is Belle Vue Terrace and to the right is Skinner Street.
